We have a wonderful team of young, qualified, and energetic coaches, who are all great at training our junior players. Training begins with basic tennis skills and technique and progresses towards more advanced aspects of the sport, such as game tactics and mental toughness, in preparation for national and international tournaments. Our coaches are fluent in English and/or Thai, some with specialized backgrounds in sports and athletics, sports science, and other tennis-related areas. Many of the coaches are former national tennis players who still have a strong passion for tennis and are eager to pass on their knowledge to their students at Spin and Slice.
Owner & Head Coach of Spin & Slice
Timo is the owner and head coach of Spin & Slice. He has over 20 years of experience in coaching both children and adults all over Asia and Europe. The former ITF, Satellite, and Futures tournament player held a highest ranking of #6 in Thailand. Timo completed his coaching certification in Germany and was a traveling coach for several Junior ITF tournaments and Futures events. He can coach players of all levels, from beginners to those who are more advanced. As the head coach, Timo supervises all of Spin & Slice’s lessons and programs, at both locations - Thanyapura Sports Club and his own Tennis Academy in Bangkok at the Fifty Club.
Coach Oat (Bangkok)
Head Coach - Advanced and Intensive Academy
Oat is our leader on the court. He is well versed in coaching both local and foreign tournament players and preparing them both physically and mentally for competitive play. He has a tough love style, and you can always see his passion and enthusiasm on the court. He always has the best interest of the students, coaches and academy in mind, and that is why it is no surprise that he is very popular among our junior players who continually request him for lessons. Oat was a stellar player himself with multiple national titles to his name. Lastly, oat not only has an impressive sports record, but a academic one as well as he holds degrees in law, as well as an MBA.
Coach Ploy (Bangkok)
Head Coach - Mini and Junior Academy
Coach Ploy was ranked top 20 in the ITF Juniors and among the top 245 in WTA Tour World Rankings! Ploy was a member of the National FED CUP Team, the Thai National ASEAN Games, and SEA Games Teams. Due to these credentials, Ploy is border line famous among the Thai tennis community. Coach Ploy is well-loved by her students for her positive energy, and fun and lively teaching approach.
Coach Sit (Bangkok)
Sit was an under 18 quarter-finalist in Thailand national tournaments, and has ample coaching experience. Due to his background in coaching at NIST International School, Sit is great in school settings and popular among foreign students. Always a friendly face, he brings a lot of positive energy to Spin and Slice.
Coach Jump (Bangkok)

Coach Jump is an ITF level 1 certified coach. He started playing tennis at the age of 9 and became a junior player when he turned 14. He completed competitively for university with many tournament wins including Doubles in Bang Saen Open 2016 and finishing top 8 at the PTT Rayong Championship 2017.
Coach Best (Bangkok)
Enhancement Coach and Fitness Trainer
Coach Best has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science and an intensive background in fitness and physical fitness training. He has certificates from the American Council of Exercise-Personal Trainers (ACE) and Basic Life Support (CPR). He is also a strong tennis player, playing competitively at university. Coach Best joined our team in early 2017 as our fitness trainer and tennis coach. He works amazingly with children as well as adults.
Coach Pair (Bangkok)
Mini Academy Coordinator
Even though Pair is capable of teaching all ages and levels, she is the star coach for our mini academies (kids aged 3-9 years old). Pair holds a Bachelor in Business Communications, has attended university in Shanghai and has lived abroad. These life experiences have translated into her being fluent in English and basic Chinese. She has a child protection level 2 certificate, and countless other tennis certifications to her name. As a player, Pair competed in ITF $10,000 and National level tournaments.
Coach Yung (Bangkok)
Coach Yung has been around tennis for almost all his life. His father was a Head Coach and Yung has followed suit. He worked alongside his father training kids for the last 5 years in Chiang Rai, including training a junior who was ranked #1 in Thailand. He has himself competed in National Junior tournaments.
Coach Oak (Bangkok)
Oak has plenty of experience in teaching students. He attained his Bachelor of Physical Education from Srinakharinwirot University and used that to teach Phys-Ed in various schools in Thailand. Oak is an accomplished player, winning numerous ASEAN university championships as well as other tournaments.
